Members Preparation for 2018
Firstly: Happy New Year!
I hope everyone enjoyed the festive season in their favourite way, but now it's back to it!
To make things a little easier I have prepared the Rossini Stabat Mater rehearsal aids a little earlier than I usually do. The Puccini tracks will be done in due course but I thought I would give everyone the best start possible by releasing what I have so far.
Please trust me when I say: no matter how confident you are at sight-reading, or busking a performance, the Amen at the end of this work is a challenge. So much so, in fact, that I've even included a version of it playing at half speed.
Lastly, don't forget we'll potentially want one of these tracks (or one from the Puccini) from memory for the video advertising before the concert so if you can spare even ten minutes a week to listen through a couple of these tracks it will help.
