On Saturday 8th November, the Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir joined forces with the Musica Youth Orchestra and the Chamber Choir of the Grammar School at Leeds to perform The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace by Karl Jenkins.

YPC’s summer concert, A Night at the Opera, dazzled with powerful choruses, stirring arias, and unforgettable solo performances. The evening was elevated by the masterful accompaniment of Alex Woodrow, whose piano and organ playing brought depth and drama to every piece. Under Thom Meredith’s inspired direction, and joined by four acclaimed soloists, the choir delivered a breathtaking celebration of operatic brilliance.
