Rompons le Silence - our virtual rehearsals, just for our members - and for our friends and supporte
Thank you so much for visiting our website, and for your interest in what the Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir (YPC) is doing during this lockdown period.
We really are very sorry that Rompons le Silence (and its coaching and rehearsal resources) is available only to current singing members of the YPC.
Our Rompons le Silence (break the silence) rehearsal initiative is very important to YPC because:
we need to keep our voices as well-trained and as flexible as possible;
we want to keep the choir ‘together’ as an entity
we want to make sure that the pieces we are working on, for our next and forthcoming concerts, are rehearsed and ready
we want to support the very strong ‘Esprit de Corps’ which is a key characteristic of the Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir,
and because we want to look after the wellbeing, of all our members – we all know how important singing is to our overall physical and mental wellbeing!
We really value all our supporters and want to keep you Interested and informed during this time. We will try to keep putting items of news and interest for you on our website throughout the lockdown, so do please keep a regular eye on it - or better still, click the box marked 'Updates' (at the bottom of the opening page) and sign up so that you never miss a YPC posting again!
