Back with a Bang!
Derek Howell, Chairman of the Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir, announces our next concert of Choral Crackers - Saturday 6 November 2021, 7.00pm, Wakefield Cathedral.
Our first concert for 18 months following lockdown will feature a varied programme of beautiful and exciting works by Mozart, Haydn, Brahms, Elgar, Parry, Vivaldi and others, performed to the highest standard by the YPC under the musical direction of Dr Andrew Padmore, with Thomas Moore at the Organ in the superb surroundings of Wakefield Cathedral.
To both encourage a return to live concerts and inspire others to experience choral music for the first time, this concert will run through without an interval and will last a little over an hour.
